Trusted at national fleet scale
Our commercial accounts range from national fleet operators through to businesses that run their own sites and contract requirements, and we are set up to work to them as standard.

DVSA/DfT Green-graded testing station
The top compliance tier on the DVSA's traffic-light risk rating, meaning minimal inspection oversight. A track record that matters when a contract requires an accredited, low-risk supplier.
What we handle for commercial customers
Every vehicle class, not just cars
Cars, vans (including specialist engine/clutch work), minibuses, and long-wheelbase Class 7 goods vehicles most garages can’t test or service in-house.
Collection service
A large share of our fleet work is collection-based, not drop-in. We work around site access and parking constraints rather than expecting vehicles brought to us.
Works to your site requirements
Some accounts carry their own access, site or contract requirements. Where they do, we work to them as standard rather than treating them as an exception.
Manufacturer-spec servicing
OEM-standard parts and dealer service schedules under UK Block Exemption rules, so warranties stay intact across the fleet.
Breakdown recovery repair work
An AA Approved Breakdown Repair Centre. Recovered vehicles are assessed and repaired properly, not just patched.
Straight, itemised pricing
No hidden extras on any invoice. Every job is itemised, so you can see what each vehicle actually cost rather than a single line total.
Every class, in-house
One garage for the whole mixed fleet.
A mixed fleet rarely fits into one MOT class. We test and service all three under one roof, so you aren't sending the heavier vehicles somewhere else.
Class 4
Cars & small vans
Cars, small vans and campervans up to 3,000kg, plus most motorhomes: the everyday MOT and service most of a mixed fleet needs.
Class 5
Minibuses & large passenger
Larger passenger vehicles, including minibuses and vehicles with 13 or more passenger seats.
Class 7
Larger goods vehicles
Light commercial goods vehicles over 3,000kg up to 3,500kg. The test goes further than a Class 4, with added checks that the tyres are rated for the extra weight and dedicated brake-efficiency testing. It needs a bay built for larger vehicles, which is why most garages can’t offer it.
How it works
Setting up a fleet account.
Direct, scoped around your operation, and itemised on every invoice.
01
One call to set it up
Fleet and commercial work is arranged directly rather than booked online, so we can scope it around your vehicles, sites and schedule. You deal with the people doing the work, not a call centre.
02
We work around your operation
A large share of our commercial work is collection-based rather than drop-in, so we fit around site access, parking and the hours your vehicles are actually free.
03
Itemised, with no hidden extras
Servicing and MOTs run to the published fixed prices. Repair work depends on the vehicle, so it is priced once we have had it in. Either way the invoice is itemised and nothing is buried in it.
04
One garage for the whole fleet
Servicing, MOTs across Classes 4, 5 and 7, repairs, diagnostics and breakdown recovery repair work, all under one roof, so a mixed fleet is not split across several suppliers.
Commercial & fleet, common questions
Do you collect vehicles?
A large share of our commercial work is collection-based rather than drop-in. We work around site access and the hours your vehicles are free rather than expecting them all brought to us. Tell us how your operation runs and we will fit around it.
Can you handle a mixed fleet?
Yes. We test and service Classes 4, 5 and 7 in-house, from cars and small vans up to minibuses and larger goods vehicles up to 3,500kg, so you are not sending the heavier vehicles somewhere else.
How is the work priced?
Servicing and MOTs are fixed prices, published on the site. Repair work depends on the vehicle, so it is priced once we have had it in rather than guessed at over the phone. Invoices are itemised with no hidden extras.
Will servicing here affect vehicles still under warranty?
No. Under UK Block Exemption rules we can service to the manufacturer schedule with the correct parts and fluids without voiding the warranty. Tell us which vehicles are affected and we will make sure the right parts are used.
How do we set up an account?
One call. Fleet work is arranged directly so we can scope it around your vehicles and sites. Reach the workshop on 0141 876 1871 or email office@darnleygarage.co.uk.
Fleet accounts
One call. The person who runs the workshop.
Fleet and commercial work is arranged directly rather than booked online, so we can scope it properly around your vehicles, sites and schedule. You deal with the people doing the work: a family-run workshop, not a call centre, and every job comes back itemised.
